To get to know an essential part of the territory, we will visit the indigenous community of Mituseño Urania located 10 minutes from the urban center of Mitú. Where we will find a series of places of sacred connotation that for the natives are of great tradition and identity regarding their worldview and territory. The route is less than 1 – 3 kilometers with an approximate time of 1 to 2 hours.

The community of Ceima Cachivera is located 30 minutes by road from the town center. Here is the largest maloca in Latin America; We visit the Troncos de Yagé hill and also the Tucunaré cachivera. This is a route of medium - high difficulty, so it is recommended to wear appropriate clothing for walks in rugged areas.

Puerto Golondrinas is a community located on the bank of the Cuduyarí River. It is necessary to navigate the Vaupés River for 10 minutes and then 5 minutes along the Cuduyarí channel to the community of Santa Marta; then walk about 30m to reach the community. In this place you can participate in how the Kubeo ethnic people work with ceramics in an artisanal way and you can also participate in traditional native games.
This day of activity has a medium-high difficulty: therefore, appropriate footwear for trekking is required, since the trails and roads are white sand forests, floodable. Depending on the moment you can enjoy sightings. It is possible to take food in the community.
On this day, a tour is carried out along the path that leads to Cerro Guacamaya, considered a sacred place for the Kubea ethnic group. The duration of the tour is approximately 5 hours (round trip) and has a distance of 7KM. Along the way you can see birds, mushrooms, and the vegetation typical of this tropical biome.
This route is considered medium-high difficulty and good physical condition is necessary. Essential hiking shoes, insect repellent and good hydration.
A characteristic of the territory is its culture and to close this adventure, we will visit the community of 12 de Octubre where we will learn about its gastronomy and its dances will make our tour unique.
On this tour we will learn about the value of the jungle from the worldview of the Tucano ethnic group. We will walk along trails full of stories and learn first-hand, with local guides, about the secrets that this place keeps. We will finish the tour in El Rebalse where we will taste the local cuisine and a place where we can enjoy the freshness of the waters.
On this tour, depending on the season and the layout of the jungle, it is possible to see the Cock of the Rock (Rupicola Rupicola) in its natural habitat.
On a tour along the highway via Mitú – Monforth, after a trip of 1 hour and 45 minutes, we will be able to reach the community of Timbó, where we will embark on an adventure of living in a community, we will be able to see the Hamaca hill that guards a part of the identity of the communities that live nearby, in addition to enjoying the waters of Caño Barbasco and Cachivera de la Gallineta, we will be able to experience and witness sharing with the community around local gastronomy, without a doubt, an unmissable experience.
